Mercy Aigbe Threatens To Sue Blogger Over Her Daughter's Upkeep

Mercy Aigbe has threatened to sue an unnamed blogger over her daughter's upkeep, which she revealed she has been solely responsible for for the past 18 years. Mercy Aigbe who threatened to sue the blogger over her daughter's upkeep, stated that she could have allowed the claim to slide, but henceforth she has made a decision to challenge every form of falsehood. 

 She wrote in parts; 

 I could have allowed this lie to slide but henceforth, I have made a decision to challenge every form of falsehood. I know like many media people, this particular blogger might not take me serious. They believe there will be no consequence for spreading false news or if they beg, all will be well. I'm putting it out here to let you know that this particular blogger lied. In the past 18 years I have been solely responsible for the upkeep of my daughter....

At last, Fashola names ‘corrupt’ contractors

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola SAN has forwarded to Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) documents from some of the Ministry’s agencies providing some level of details regarding the names of contractors that allegedly collected money for electricity projects but failed to execute any projects, and inviting SERAP to “inspect a compendium of verified and paid/outstanding liabilities of contractors, kept at the offices of the Nigeria Electricity Liability Management Limited/GTE.” This development was disclosed today in a statement by SERAP deputy director Kolawole Oluwadare. The Ministry’s letter with reference number FMP/LU/R2K/2016/T/40 and signed on Mr Fashola’s behalf by the Permanent Secretary (Power) Louis O.N. Edozien, was sent to SERAP last week.
